March 2008 | New destinations for Eurowings

The new Eurowings Summer timetable for the time from 30 March to 25 October 2008 contains totally 53 destinations in 17 countries. Most planes will be based in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt also in future. A new destination is Bristol in Southwest England, to which two BAe 146 flights will be operated daily from Frankfurt, one overnight.

Other newcomers among our destinations from Frankfurt are Billund in Denmark (two BAe 146 flights a day) and Wroclaw in Poland (one BAe 146 flight a day), with the last named destination also available from Düsseldorf (by CRJ200 every day, except Saturdays). The previous overnighter in Paris will not be available from end of April, it has been taken over by CityLine. In its place Leipzig/Halle has been added as new overnight location. The flight from Berlin-Tegel to London-City, which has been operated since the beginning of the year, will continue for the term of the Summer timetable (two BAe 146 flights every working day, one each on Saturdays and Sundays), with a new plane based in Nuremberg.

Other flights operate from Düsseldorf to Valencia (at first on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from May 1 from Monday to Fridays by BAe 146) and Düsseldorf to Oslo (daily one CRJ200 flight). In addition to these, there are numerous flights to various holiday destinations, for example, the popular holiday islands of Sylt and Usedom (twice a week each from Düsseldorf by CRJ200) and Bastia (Corsica) and Olbia (Sardinia), also operating from Düsseldorf (once every week each by CRJ200). For the first time, flights during the Summer vacations will be operated to Newquay, the spa in South-West England (every Saturday by CRJ200).

Like last summer, the charter program contains a flight from Düsseldorf to the Swedish Jonköping (every Saturday by CRJ200).
