Cologne 03/07/2020 4:15 PM

Due to the Corona crisis, the entry into many countries is strongly regulated and sometimes changes occur at short notice. Some countries require an online registration up to 48 hours prior to entry and the completion of a health questionnaire.

Please take a little time before departure and prepare yourself for the requirements of the respective destination country.

Important note for passengers travelling to Greece, Spain or Italy:

  • Greece:
The online registration must be done at least 24 hours before departure to Greece. After filling out the form you will receive a QR code. This code must be shown on the day of travel in printed form or on your smartphone at check-in and/or boarding. Without a QR Code, the flight and the entry to Greece will be denied. In some cases, the confirmation email is also accepted at check-in, provided that the online registration has taken place at least 24 hours before departure.

  • Spain:
Air travellers must always fill out a form on the Spain Travel Health Portal for health checks. You will then receive a QR code, which must be presented upon entry. Registration can be done at the earliest 48 hours before intended entry. This can also be done via the free SpTH app.

  • Italy:
Online registration prior to arrival is required for all passengers with the following destinations: Lamezia Terme (SUF), Olbia (OLB), Cagliari (CAG), Palermo (PMO), Catania (CTA)

  • Cyprus:
The online registration must be done at least 24 hours before departure to Cyprus. After filling out the form you will receive a confirmation. This confirmation must be shown on the day of travel in printed form or on your smartphone at check-in and/or boarding. Without a confirmation, the flight and the entry to Cyprus will be denied. Additionally you may be charged with a 500 euros fine.

Please check the government website of your destination country for further information or consult the IATA Travel Centre.
