After several months of suspended flights, Eurowings is preparing to gradually resume selected flights to the Middle East . The security situation in the relevant regions has stabilized in recent weeks. Based on continuous security assessments and in close coordination with experts from the Lufthansa Group and Eurowings, the following routes are currently planned for resumption:
Erbil (EBL) from July 1st
Beirut (BEY) from July 1st
Tel Aviv (TLV) from July 10th
The remaining destinations in the Middle East are expected to resume in the autumn.
The resumption of flights is an important step for Eurowings. The routes to Beirut, Erbil, and Tel Aviv hold great personal significance for many of our passengers, who use them to visit family and friends. With this restart, we are once again establishing direct connections to key destinations in our network.
