The Greek island of Crete Heraklion (HER) is the fifth-largest island in the Mediterranean and has been a popular destination for many years. The island is not only loved for its beaches, sports enthusiasts are also increasingly flocking to Crete Heraklion (HER). As on all the other Greek islands, the summer months are not excessively hot with temperatures of around 27 to 28 degrees from June to September. The climate is also quite mild in the winter, with averages of 15 degrees from December to March.
