The city of Dubrovnik (DBV) is in the southern part of Croatia and is sometimes called the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the Mediterranean and has been on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites for many years. Dubrovnik (DBV) could perhaps be so popular with tourists because of its ban on cars in the city centre. You can still see some of the scars from the 1991 War of Independence in some areas on a tour through the city. If you come to Dubrovnik (DBV) in the summer, you can experience the summer festival with its many productions and performing arts events in July and August.
