General Terms and Conditions for Promo Codes

Please note:

We refer to codes issued as part of marketing promotions as promo codes. The following terms and conditions apply to promo codes. Separate terms and conditions apply to promotional vouchers and purchased gift vouchers. Moreover, promotion-specific conditions apply to each promo code. These can be found on the landing page or in the newsletter of the respective marketing promotion.

General Terms and Conditions

  • Each promo code comprises a word and a number.

  • The promo code may be redeemed only at eurowings.com in the booking step "flights". It is not possible to redeem a promo code after completing a booking.

  • The promo code is not valid in combination with other promotions, unless specifically mentioned.

  • The promo code is for personal use only. Selling it to or sharing it with a third party is prohibited. Eurowings or a third party authorised by Eurowings reserve the right to deny the redemption of a promo code in the event of a violation of the terms and conditions.

  • The promo code is valid only for travel routes operated by Eurowings. These can be identified by the flight number „EWXXX“.

  • A promo code's period of validity is specifically defined in the respective marketing promotion and can be found on the landing page or in the newsletter.

  • The travel period for which a promo code may be redeemed is specifically defined in the respective marketing promotion and can be found on the landing page or in the newsletter.

  • Only one promo code may be used for each booking.

  • The promo code reduces only the fare value of the ticket and may not be used for fees, taxes, or other additional charges.

  • If a ticket for which a promo code has been redeemed is to be reimbursed, only the reduced fare value of the ticket (depending on fare conditions of the ticket) will be reimbursed. Only the amount paid by the passenger (reduced prices) will be reimbursed.

  • Promo codes are not redeemable for cash.

  • If the value of a ticket purchased with a promo code is used as partial payment for a ticket of a higher value (e.g. a more expensive fare, flight rebooking), only the reduced value of the ticket will count towards the value of the new ticket. This does not apply to diversions following a flight cancellation.

  • Certain fares, routes, and flights may be excluded from the use of promo codes.

  • Promo codes may be used only for flight prices, not for booking change charges (MCOs), excess baggage, seat reservations, or other flight-related additional products.

  • Promo codes may not be used for flight bookings for infants (up to two years of age).

  • Only the reduced price is displayed on the passenger receipt, which serves as an invoice for flight tickets.

  • Eurowings reserves the right to cancel a promo code at any time.
